The logo is an important part of the brand identity, so it's essential to get it right. The process involved creating a few different concepts and refining them until the has a final design that meets the needs of their business.
The client wanted the logo to look like on of the dream boards that they create, this was achieved with the use of a crackled paint texture and similar typography. The color scheme was black and gold which continues to support the vintage aesthetic the client was wishing to accomplish.
Transforming Dreams
First the website layout was determined, then the overall look and feel, as well as the navigation and content hierarchy. The textures of the logo are continued on the design of the website with the use of the distressed background. The shape of the logo is repeated in the three main sections below the fold of the website under the the slider. The next section shows off a user submitted featured piece of content that leads off an interior page.
